Old/Unfinished business:

Discussed the May Memorial service and what we want to did this year with the 80th Anniversary of the sinking of the USS Scorpion SS 278. We moved our event to the G & H Steakhouse and had a great time and favorable food. Will certainly keep them in mind for next years event.
We need to keep talking with the City of Yankton and trying to get more involvement from them.
After I received some comments regarding the new Purple Heart sign at Yankton, emailed Ken from the Purple Heart org about it not stating "Purple Heart" recipients anywhere on their new sign. Awaiting an answer.

New Business:

What do you have that would be proper to display in a Military Museum?
What memorabilia is in your closet?
Roger Zarn, Vice Commander of Scorpion 278 Base has requested a leave of absence from his 2 year term due to health conditions.
His resignation is accepted and with a request to those present, Ray Turner will assume the Vice Commander duties through next year's election.

Congratulations and thank you to Ray and Big thanks to Roger for your current and past service to the Scorpion 278 Base!

Along with his wife Charlie and other Holland Club members, Gerold Davey, Bud Walkins, Ray Turner, Bruce Curry, Roger Zarn and Ron Bowen. They welcomed Chuck into the greatest Submarine Club of all!
