Sec of Tourism, SD Battleship Memorial Ex Bd and other key players in the meeting. Main focus is community education and fundraising.
They continue to look for key people who would donate $$$ to the cause. Al S. brought up several items such as Ship’s Bell, silver tea set
and other items to can be given or donated to boat. Much more info coming as we get our marching orders from the Lt Gov Matt Michels
and Chairman Mike Samp.

Looking for someone who would be interested in our long range plans with the City of Sioux Falls!
Our long range plan is to meet with the SF Park & Rec Dept which controls the Sioux Falls Veterans Memorial Park for a memorial plaque
to submarine veterans.
With the recent National memorial plaque in DC, we feel it can be duplicated and used for our memorial site in SF.
Next meeting is Saturday, September 12th, 2015 at the SF DAV.
